DOUGLAS MCARTHUR

Douglas has worked for Supply Tigers for the past nine years acting as the General Manager. Prior to Supply Tigers Douglas worked for Sustainable 20/20 inc. (five years) and UPM Kymmene (20 years).

At Sustainable 20/20 inc. Douglas produced business development opportunities and results to progressive companies who want innovative global energy saving solutions. He focused on the sale of LED light bulbs, energy display systems and connected building technology platform, wireless control systems: partner development; business and channel development for geo-thermal systems , business development on anaerobic digestion / biogas within the dairy industry in mid-west; advanced building automation systems to enable lower operating costs of commercial properties and new ways to cut energy consumption and leverage dynamic pricing opportunities.

At UPM he Led production unit’s global sales effort, worth $200M, managing sales, marketing, customer service, logistics and warehouse teams of over 40 people. Additional Group role to manage tactical local market pricing for all UK coated paper sales worth $320M.

Additionally, he led a professional marketing team including the functions of Environmental Marketing , e-Commerce, Product Management, Marketing Communications and Business Intelligence, serving multiple distribution channels and end use clients such as Time Inc, RRDonnelley, Sears, Quad/Graphics, Target, JCPenney, and Unisource.
